I just wanted to share some advice. If you're a beginner, have patience. It takes a lot of time and practice to get where you want to get. (Though I truly believe we never truly reach our full potential).
When I started learning the Bass, I was about 16/17 years old (which in my opinion I think that's pretty old). I used to get home from school at around 2pm. I would grab the bass and not let it go probably until 11pm. This went on for a lot of years.
I can’t lie and say that I still practice as much, but that time and dedication def. paid off. Practice, Practice and Practice some more.
